Bookkeeper
Our continued growth has provided us with the opportunity to add an experienced bookkeeper to our Team.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Day to day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, payroll, reconciliation etc.
- Assist in the management of the bookkeeping team, including helping review work papers and BAS lodgments, and ensuring tasks are completed on time and by due dates.
Skills and personal attributes:
- Registered BAS Agent, with a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, a professional bookkeeper an advantage.
- Min. 5 years experience in bookkeeping or finance industry
- Experience with Xero a must &/or MYOB, QuickBooks or Reckon or similar accounting programs
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Works well under pressure
- Resourceful
- Can work independently
- Mature and positive attitude
This role is initially a 2-3 days per week commitment, with the option to become full time or a potential job share role. You must be able to work from the Navwealth office during the initial training period as you get to know the role, we can discuss work from home options.
We are looking for someone who is looking to settle into and help build a great team of people who enjoy what they do. If you are the right candidate you will be looking for a long term position as this role is not suitable for those just looking for experience. You must be Sydney based, no offshore applications will be considered.
